Resources

This is a list of my favorite resources, places I visit on a daily basis, as well as places that are useful when I’m researching.  I’m hoping to slowly build it up, and thought others may find this useful.  If there is a great site I have missed, please let me know, and I’ll check it out.  Please note that all of these sites are sites I use myself and can vouch for; you cannot pay to be included here.

Learn

A [slowly] growing list of places to learn about the Web, search, and where it is all going.  It includes links to video’s, blogs, and Web sites on subjects such as social media, SEO, blogging, the law and the Internet, journalism and writing resources, anything and everything that can help you blog well.

News

If I need a decent news fix, or a story idea, these are some of the places I visit on the Web, both mainstream media and citizen journalism sites, listed by topic.

Reports

Recent reports and studies about all things Internet, brilliant for research.

Search: Where to find stuff on the Web

Finding stuff on the Web can be tricky but if you know the right search engine, subject directory or invisible Web database, you’re halfway there.  These are some that I use and I like, with descriptions.
